Part of the original Driveway Permit, the Town of Pelican and Oneida County requested mound to be cleared along the easement as the property lies on the inside of a curve in the road. This is for safety of us (land owners) as well as everyone using the street.
I contracted a young eager kid, recently out of the local high school, to move dirt/sand, trees stumps and any other hindrances from the area to ensure safe passage for all.
Joey Berlanger is definitely a hard-working, motivation-driven young man. November 1st came and he texted me that he was on the grounds and ready to doze some dirt.
8 hours later, he had a all the debris moved up to the utility lines and pipes along the easement, as per the request of the town and county.
He even found good use for some of the dirt, creating a parking spot/turn about up by the build site.
