TqIt is finally time for the first excavation of dirt!
Before construction equipment can make their entrance up the 125+ foot trek up the driveway, Oneida County and the Town of Pelican has required us to remove the dirt and tree cover on the easement on the west side of our driveway. This is due to the safety aspect of all, since we are on the inside curve of N. Shore Dr.
We have hired a guy to help relocate dirt, rock, and a few stumps to clean up the safety risk. With no real timetable, he will get to moving stuff at his leisure before winter hits.
Diggers Hotline has been contacted and has marked all utilities.
Now it’s time to really get excited for the future.
